“Country Lovin’ ” is the much anticipated and highly requested third full-length studio album from country music singer/ songwriter Shane Barnhill.
A combination of Texas music and mainstream country, “Country Lovin’ ” was produced by noted producers Jason Rooks (who has worked with John Michael Montgomery, Los Lonely Boys, Clint Black, Junior Gordon and has written songs recorded by Travis Tritt, Lone Star and Trace Adkins) and Bobby Terry, who contributed significantly to the project as guitar player (he has played and written for Toby Keith, Willie Nelson, Jamey Johnson, Alan Jackson, Trace Adkins and more) and session leader.
A performer on the Texas scene for more than ten years, Barnhill, who is a firefighter/paramedic by day, called on accumulated life experiences to write and gather outside material for this effort. With a style he has termed, “Jukebox Music,” his love of songwriting and varied influences have carried over into “Country Lovin’ ” and the compilation is sure to strike a chord of the many emotions reflected on the album.
Barnhill knows the music is steps above and that “Country Lovin’ ” is a solid collection of cuts that are sure to make an impact. Known for thoughtful lyrics, supreme musicianship and high-energy live shows, Barnhill is bringing some Texas attitude to country music!
